The Project Controls, Primavera P6 Scheduler role works in conjunction with the Data Center Program Management team to create a framework and best practices on project controls and management.

This role will work directly with onsite Project Management and Construction Management teams to create and manage the day to day schedule of the large data center rollouts. This role will also be responsible for providing timely and reliable cost, schedule, and performance measurements in accordance with the program governance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in capacity management during sales and operations planning, master scheduling, materials requirements planning, and production activity control
  • Create and maintain master implementation schedule in Oracle Primavera P6 and calculate EVM metrics/impacts to the project milestones.
  • Work with Construction Management and Project/Program Management to determine weekly inbound forecast and develop consumption models to improve accuracy.
  • Establish key performance indicators of forecast accuracy as well as actual data to date.
  • Schedule demand based on the product mix and provide accurate commitment dates to Project/Program team across multiple product lines.
  • Assemble master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the implementation plan.
  • Establish reporting to determine labor and productivity performance statistics.

  • Solid proven organizational, project management, and leadership skills
  • Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize considerable and complex data.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills; can effectively interact with all levels of management.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 and any client specific software or tools management.
  • Strong PC skills (Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel).
  • Work flexible hours as required by Management.
  • Work independently as well as in teams, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must be punctual and have good attendance.
  • Willing to engage in ad-hoc requests.
  • Inquisitive mind capable to work autonomously.
  • Comfortable to delivery good quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to proactively engage with different stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Engage with different teams on regular basis for follow-up exercises.

  • Keen to redo exercises as/when new data becomes available.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Experience in big capital construction projects desired.
  • Fully fledged with project management parameters e.g. earned value, actuals, accruals, planned values, estimates at completion, resource levelling.
  • PMP certification desired.
