Technical Lead  – REMOTE (DE, NJ, PA)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related experience
  • 7 – 10 years of experience working with SIP / VoIP engineering
  • 7 – 10 years’ experience as an Avaya technician with call center experience preferable
  • 5+years Avaya VoIP engineering/support experience
  • 5+ years solid hands-on experience with Cisco, VoIP
  • In depth knowledge and implementation skills of next generation communications such as SIP-VoIP/Digital Voice
  • Must be able to work independently with little guidance
  • In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks, and applications
  • Experienced interfacing with vendors for new technology development and collaboration
  • In-depth knowledge of VoIP; experience with Avaya VoIP Products
  • In-depth knowledge of IP Routing, Quality of Service technologies with demonstrated implementation in a large enterprise organization
  • Experience with call center technologies preferred
  • The individual is required to have strong diagnostics, logic and organizational skills, be detailed oriented excellent follow through, must have a superior customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to see patterns and trends, analyze data and make recommendations
  • Excellent knowledge of telephony hardware/software procurement including project budgeting
  • Experience Avaya centralized SIP architectures including failover and disaster recovery
  • Experience with Avaya gateways
  • Experience with Nectar CMP VoIP monitoring tool including metrics reporting
  • Experience with resilient architecture, design, operations support & troubleshooting VoIP-related, digital, and
  • PSTN technologies
  • Experience with hybrid environments that include TDM/Analog/IP technologies
  • Experience with Windows (AD, DNS, DFS) and Citrix deployments
  • Experience in reading SIP ladder diagrams and packet captures
  • Experience with maintaining Experience Portal, Elite Multi Channel and Callback Assist
  • Experience with Windows and Unix operating systems
